In “Pugmire Secret of Vinsen’s Tomb,” a cat living in Pugmire disappears, but neither the police dogs nor the cats of the Cat Quarter know why. When zombies attack you, however, all signs point to an invasion by the Monarchies of Mau. But how does this intrigue tie into the lost tomb of the first king of Pugmire?
In Pugmire, dogs and cats have inherited the world, building nations thousands of years after the Ages of Man. These dogs and cats have been changed to use tools and language, and they (along with other races of uplifted animals) seek to rediscover the world they’ve inherited. Some use the leftover technology of humanity, but they believe it all to be magic. Others seek to create an ideal civilization, using information compiled from ancient, fragmentary lore. The world is dangerous and mysterious, but courageous dogs and clever cats will persevere.

This story was fun! I’m not a big fan of combat, and even with some elements of that in this campaign, it felt lighthearted and accessible for a very new player. I would definitely recommend this system. The world and characters in it are charming.
The world of Pugmire is charming and fun. The game has system elements that emphasize cooperation and teamwork. It seems like a great game for family play or to introduce people who are unfamilliar with the concept of roleplaying.
