A djinni trapped in a book offers a prize to adventurers to find a way to release him. The key to the djinni’s freedom lies with his former master, a mad wizard on the cusp of mastering elemental magic.
Characters are Level 10.
This is part of Candlekeep Mysteries as a greater adventure, or can be played as a one-shot (mini-campaign) game.
Candlekeep keeps on delivering great mini-adventures and this one was no exception. We are VERY careful when opening books these days but, hey, you’ve got to follow your path. As ever, AjaxDM did a great job of translating the book into a fast-paced adventure with plenty of intrigue, combat and even a bit of time for roleplay. And she kept us all in order too, which is no mean feat.
Another phenomenal Candlekeep adventure, made all the better by an awesome DM! AjaxDM brought the story to life, adding loads of character to the NPCs (one in particular did NOT like us mispronouncing his name) and plenty of options for crazy player shenanigans and interactions, while keeping us focused on the plot. This particular story was full of high stakes and mystery. A super enjoyable game.
I had a really great time playing in this adventure. AjaxDM really brought it to life and kept everything running smoothly through the various shenanigans d&d parties like to toss into the mix.
