Storm King’s Thunder

In “Storm King’s Thunder,” Giants have emerged from their strongholds to threaten civilization as never before. Hill Giants are stealing all the grain and livestock they can, while Stone Giants have been scouring settlements that have been around forever. Fire Giants are press-ganging the ‘small folk’ into the desert, while Frost Giant longships have been pillaging along the Sword Coast. Even the elusive Cloud Giants have been witnessed, their wondrous floating cities appearing above Waterdeep and Baldur’s Gate. Where is the Storm Giant king who is tasked with keeping order among the Giants?

The Humans, Dwarves, Elves, and other ‘small folk’ of the Sword Coast will be crushed underfoot by the onslaught of these Giant foes. The only chance at survival is for the small folk to work together to investigate this invasion and harness the power of rune magic, the Giants’ weapon against their ancient enemies, the Dragons. The only way the people of Faerun can restore order is to use the Giants’ own power against them.

Travel the Sword Coast, learning about new places and lore, encountering giants and dragons, friends and foes along the way.

Alison is an amazing DM, and I couldn’t recommend her games more highly. This particular campaign is – I believe – already a classic, and being at her table for it is just too much fun. I’m having the best time, and the rest of the players are wonderful as well!

I was one of the lucky one who were able to complete SKT module. It was a blast and the final showdown was epic. Ajax DM is an outstanding DM and I can recommend this campaign lead by her to everyone who wnats a good mix of sandbox and exploration in their adventure.
    6/5 Stars 😀

I finished this campaign recently and… My goodness this was a story to remember. Giants aren’t used much in fiction or DND as a large part of the story, so having them in this was a nice change of pace. Allison did a lovely job of incorporating our various playstyles into the game, making my bard, the squishiest of the group feel VERY important and helpful. Another lovely adventure with this DM, I do recommend.
